Service

Restaurants & Bars

Full interior design and project accompaniment for restaurants, cafés and bars — from the first concept to a completed venue.

Scope

What the service covers.

Design Time Studio delivers full interior design and project accompaniment for restaurants, cafés and bars. Each project is shaped around the venue, the offer and the budget — the brief is built together, then held to it.

The work can begin from an empty shell or from an existing restaurant, café or bar in need of a complete transformation. Scope and specification are agreed at the outset, so the result matches the budget rather than the other way around.

Approach

The work, in five stages.

A clear, ordered process from brief to completion — adapted to the venue, the operator and the budget agreed at the start.

  1. 01

    Concept & feasibility

We start by understanding the venue, the audience, the menu and the operating model behind it. The brief, the existing premises and the budget are read together before any design decision is locked in.

    What you receive

    • A design concept shaped around the venue, audience, menu and budget
    • A clear brief and a prioritised list of what matters most
    • A feasibility read of the existing premises before commitments are made
  2. 02

    Space & guest experience

The front-of-house is planned around how guests arrive, wait, sit and move through the room. Seating, comfort, bar and staff routes are resolved together so service runs cleanly.

    What you receive

    • A front-of-house plan covering guest flow, seating capacity, waiting and entry areas
    • Bar and staff routes planned so service runs cleanly during a full service
    • A layout that protects comfort without wasting square metres
  3. 03

    Kitchen & bar planning

The professional kitchen and the bar are developed around the menu and the workflow, in close consultation with the client's chef and the relevant kitchen specialists. Equipment needs and service connections are coordinated with the wider project team.

    What you receive

    • Professional kitchen and bar layouts built around the menu and workflow
    • Coordination with your chef and relevant kitchen specialists
    • Equipment needs and service connections coordinated with the project team
  4. 04

    Design & procurement

Interior design and drawings are prepared to the agreed scope. Finishes, lighting, furniture and equipment are selected to brief and budget, and sourced across local and international suppliers when this makes sense for the project.

    What you receive

    • Interior design and drawings prepared to the agreed scope
    • Finishes, lighting, furniture and equipment selected to brief and budget
    • Sourcing across local and international suppliers, including China when overall cost, quality, delivery, certification, warranty and support make sense — not on price alone
  5. 05

    Project delivery & completion

The studio accompanies the project through renovation or build-out, coordinating design decisions, contractors, orders and installation, and bringing the venue to a completed state ready to hand over.

    What you receive

    • Design accompaniment through renovation or build-out
    • Coordination of contractors, orders and installation
    • A completed venue, delivered to the agreed specification
